• Aleksandrs Belovs from INTEXSYS will give a talk “Enhancing CI/CD pipelines: Road from Docker Swarm to Amazon EKS”.
  It will be a story of creating a reliable build and deployment pipeline using Kubernetes. We will share our experience of crafting numerous Kubernetes clusters using on-premise and cloud infrastructure, numerous pitfalls, lessons learned, nasty bugs, and tools/technologies that we have dealt with and used during our journey.   Kubernetes is gaining its community of developers and organizations. Today, both managed and native container orchestrations are the ‘de facto’ standard of conventional applications deployment. We will go over IaC principals with Terraform & Kubernetes, some pitfalls that you might face with the duo, and how this setup can be made agile.

  During this talk I will give you insights into how ApturiCovid infrastructure was designed, tested and deployed using Nutanix on-premise kubernetes solution. I will also share other technical challenges when using on-premise solutions and what you should keep in mind when going with on-premise instead of cloud solutions.
